THE TEXAS NORTHEAST TARRANT COUNTY SENIOR LEADERSHIP GROUP

This Group includes volunteer leaders from the fourteen cities in the Northeast Tarrant County area.  Among our members we have prior and current mayors, city council members, members of the Texas Silver Haired Legislature, and members of the business community.  All of our members are valuable and make important contributions toward achieving the goals of our group.

The fifteen cities include Bedford, Colleyville, Euless, Grapevine, Haltom City, Haslet, Hurst, Keller, North Richland Hills, Roanoke, Richland Hills, Southlake, Trophy Club, Watauga and Westlake. Our goals are defined by continuously monitoring the interests and concerns of the growing population of seniors in these cities, especially identifying and documenting needs that are not adequately met.  To better meet the need of our growing senior population,  we strongly encourage mayors and city council members to share resources, which they dedicate to senior programs, without regard to the city of residence of the senior.

To enhance the quality of life for the older citizens, we work with City, County, State, and Federal elected and unelected government officials when appropriate to enhance the quality of life for seniors.  To make it easier for citizens to contact elected and unelected Government leaders, we have included a page of links to elected officials in the Northeast Tarrant County Cities, Tarrant County,  the State of Texas, and the Federal Government.

 Also, we work with private groups, civic groups and churches to improved the quality of life for seniors in Northeast Tarrant County.
