Leadership Northeast will convene  at 9:00 to 10:30 am on Tuesday March 17 at the Colleyville Chamber of Commerce meeting room at 6700 Colleyville Blvd (Highway 26).  We expect an interesting and important  program. 

Bob Scott, who is a member of the Region C  Water Planning Group, will be our guest speaker. Water supply is looming as a huge problem for the world and our area.  Not only is fresh water in short supply due to increasing demand, much of the world’s supply is contaminated from chemicals and animal waste. The world’s supply of water is as critical to our civilization’s survival as global warming and energy supplies.

Also. Dr .Paul Geisel is to give a brief report on his Panama trip.  

We expect to get Legislative reports from Oscar Garcia who represents the Texas Silver Haired Legislature, and Mitizi Long from Representative Truitt’s office. 

Outreach Coordinator, Rebecca Barksdale, will represent Commissioner Fickes.
